It has key start and a 10 amp charging system as well as a head light in the fuel tank 

A small auto alternator could be added to any of the small engines  to charge batteries. 

The Chinese know that there are people in their land that need a dependable source of motive  power that is easily fixed with a very few tools.

 These engines are on a diet when it comes to fuel.  I have put a 10 k generator  head on a 195 engine and installed it in a shed for when the lights go out.   This engines  (12 hp and above) generally  have electric start so even  my wife  can start it with ease. 

These engines are little work horses. As with the Indian Listers these engines were designed for  hard labor and for a long time and with little attention.

These work well with a 3 kw Generator head  to make a nic little power plant or a truck alternator to charge batteries.

The Venerable 12 hp water cooled  Cangfa model S195 

A small auto alternator could be added to charge the batteries. or  a small charger could be plugged in to charge starting batteries. 

     These engines are of the indirect injection type, meaning  that the fuel is sprayed in to a small area in the cylinder called a pre combustion  chamber. This system worked very well. As a matter of fact a well known US, yellow diesel manufacturer used the same system till the early to mid 80s.   These engines also have balancer shafts and run very smoothly.
